House approves HR 2454 "Cap and Trade"- Largest tax increase in US history

Because of Shuler’s help in passing the disastrous HR2454 Cap and Trade bill without ever
having read it (the bill was over 1200 pages long), I am officially launching the Defeat Shuler
2010 Campaign. To prove that I am serious, I purchased the domains www.defeat-shuler-
2010.com, www.heath-shuler.com, and www.shuler2010.com. In the coming weeks I will be
building the sites to encourage his constituency to vote him out of office in 2010.

In the meantime, however, we must stress the importance of contacting our Senators Burr and Hagan and tell them to vote NO on the Senate's version of the bill. If passed, this legislation will DESTROY our economy.

Unfortunately, if the Senate is anything like the House, they will ignore their constituents and pass it anyway. Let's make it clear to them that doing so would be committing political suicide. As far as I know, Burr is against it and as long as he continues to support our values I will help in his re-election campaign next year. Unfortunately he is in the minority.

Thanks for sharing this with us. It is well done and makes clear what these traitors have done. Would you mind if I post it on the websites I have launched to defeat Shuler? It is easy and inexpensive to get domain names and post a website nowadays, so you may wish to encourage others to do the same with helping defeat their congressional reps.

The sites are not quite up and running and I had a nasty suprise when I discovered that the company I had signed up with was giving me domain forwarding WITHOUT the actual domain names! I now OFFICIALLY have the domain names "heath-shuler.com", "defeatshuler.com", and "shuler2010.com". I have posted a preliminary site and just set up the forwarding (keeping my fingers crossed that it will work properly).

I am looking for content to add to the site, so any photos or info you can provide will be appreciated. I don't want to be sleazy, but I want to present a convinving case to oust Shuler in 2010.
