Perdue Wants $1.6 Billion from You, Burn those Phone Lines

Ok, I read this today and it really makes my blood boil... typical Democrat/Liberal speak is to defend their increase in spending by saying it's for the children. Sheesh, do they really think that they are better equipped to determine what's best for MY children? I don't think so. In Ms. Perdue's letter to the NC House and Senate members she explains that she needs another 1.6 billion in revenue (i.e. our money) because "We must remember that the decisions we make today are not about our political future, they are about our children’s future. "

and then please contact your NC reps and senators (http://www.ncleg.net)... I do think we're making a big difference. If we weren't then I believe that this budget with it's tax increases would've already passed.
