I haven't joined the 9-12 project out of Asheville because of the person who started the group, and his attitudes expressed on this group and when I have spoken to him a couple of times. We have an informal one in my dorm where we meet away from the the progressives and the crazies.

On 9-12-09, the 9-12 groups in Franklin are planning a big get together, and I think we'll be watching Glenn Beck's 9-12 show with them..

I believe I already joined Glenn Becks 9-12 a while back on the internet...we listen to him on the radio 570am mornings too,,with Rush following,,Matt Mittan following and somtimes Hannity unless we're on tv...then you guessed it Fox News....I just joined us in the Freedomworks too.wow..they have a following since 1984....All I want now is for us to find some good, honest, loyal, constitutional believers who will represent us in 2010 and 2012... alrighty then....Barbara Mc

I agree, Gary. We are doing EXACTLY what the democrats want when we fight each other.

Ok, fair enough.

Well, Andy... maybe this Glenn Beck thing is just what we all need to put aside our differences and get on with bringing our government back to abiding by the Constitution, limited government, less taxes, balanced budgets, freedom and prosperity.

Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions yourself. I wasn't thinking of you, Gary. You are a nice guy.

I have attended many a meeting of Libertarians, and sat in on bull sessions with some of the people who are members of the Campaign for Liberty and Liberty Asheville. I even stood on the overpass waving a sign in Asheville and heard complaints about the 'theocrats' as we social conservatives have been called.

Andy Said:
"How long will the anti-religious zeal of the "libertarians" be able to handle Glenn's devotion to God as the center of the movement?"

Libertarianism is the belief liberty is the best foundation for a civil and just society. I don't know any libertarians that don't believe that a moral order is essential for the maintenance of liberty.

As for anti-religious zeal, I don't have any of that. I believe in God, I pray, I try to live my life like a Christian should. I don't take offense because other people pray to other gods or to those who don't pray to a god. That is none of my business.

I love how some people jump to conclusions about my faith just because I don't wear it on my sleeve. If you must know, doing that is against my religion.

I listen to Glenn on XM Radio at work, and really love how he freely talks about the importance of God in his life. I don't get home until after his TV show is off. I listen to Hannity on the way home every afternoon.

Kathy, I admire your willingness to speak the truth to the lost. I think that God is using Glenn to reach to the libertarian wing of the party.

Andy, Glenn has several clips from his Fox show on his website.

Very Good Question!

Of course, according to Libertarians, it's just not inclusive enough to actually support the moral code of Western Civilization which is Judeo-Christianity. I know some people who are hostile to the subject get tired of me bringing it up so often. But all I can say is, get used to it.

The American people have been deprived of the knowledge of our historical Christian Heritage, and how that philosophy and faith impacted, and influenced the Founders, and our Founding documents. Because of deliberate omission, and selective historical teaching concerning the founding history of this nation..

I'm not playing the selective omissions, and politically correct game of being unoffensive to some that can't handle the truth.

I don't have cable, so I've never seen his show, except when Thunder Pig posts clips on his blog.

How long will the anti-religious zeal of the "libertarians" be able to handle Glenn's devotion to God as the center of the movement?
