Hey everyone. My name is Vince Kreul, and I'm one of the Tea Party organizers in Huntsville, AL. After the April 15th tea party I got a call from Americans for Limited Government (one of the American Liberty Tour sponsors working with ALA), and they offered me a position as a field rep. Basically, I'm trying to get in touch with and offer any help I can to tea party leaders in Heath Shuler's congressional district, right now working to keep pressure on him to vote against the healthcare takeover. If you are, or know anyone who is a tea party leader in district 11, please get in touch with me. My email is vkreul@getliberty.org.

Thanks!!

Freedom Works is chartering buses from Franklin, and they probably are from Asheville as well. I'm not going because our 9-12 Project Group is meeting to watch Glenn Beck that afternoon.

We are wanting to go to DC. Not sure right now though and we would have to go by car as with a dog it's hard any other way. Keep checking around, this might be good for those who rather go with a group and it would be fun too, I would think.

Is anyone signing up to go to the 9/12 protest in DC? I read there will be busses going from some cities. Does anyone think maybe we can sell tickes and charter one from Asheville?

They recognized me as one of the speakers and so to Tripps we all went strangers yet friends. NIne of us sat down at a table and talked. Discussing matters at hand. Something should be done, it's all out of control, we are now right wing extremeist, terroists. As we talked we agreed that sitting down with more people, a group would be good. We gave each other our emails, tele #s.

I'm glad to hear that, Everett! It would be great if after all of these tea parties everyone would have gotten together like that to discuss ways to get active. I attended the event in Charlotte which had an attendance of 2,500-3,000 - I only WISH that all of us would have went somewhere afterward to talk these things out and connect individually like you did.

Regarding the next step... Perhaps we should all descend on our state capitals the next go 'round, then on DC for the mother of all tea parties.

My hubby and I went to our first Tea Party, April 15, 2009, tax day. What an experience. So many people, colorful, excitment in the air. I viewed everyone and then we signed a resolution, receiving a free flag and then meeting Erika Franzi the organizer of the tea party. We stood and listened to speakers and then I thought I wrote a speach wonder if I could get up there. I started stepping closer to the front and then Erika I asked may I go up there, Yes she said. There I went and you know what it was great. Even though I kept losing my notes, the gentlemen kept picking them up. The cheering no more taxes, no more taxes came from the people. After I stepped down patts on my back, good job, then we were calling Washington. We sang songs of freedom, then the disbursment slowly came. People slowly walking to their cars. As we began walking to ours we met a man coming to the tea party with his sign, so a lady walking past said come on we'll eat down at Tripps. After eating we said our good byes and the manager said you can park your cars here for these tea parties. We went our ways. What a day, a beautiful day. Now what? You tell me. The 4th of July is coming, but still. The government is going too far. Should we all go to Washington? Our states become soveringn? We are above the Fed. gov.? Obama, Pelosi, Geitner, etc. they are dividing us? Folks, this is serious!!!! God Bless you all, Barbara
