Tele-Townhall of August 13, 2009 (Audio Recording)

Here is the audio that I was able to record of the Townhall that took place tonight. I missed the beginning because the power was temporarily out due to a Severe Thunderstorm, and the end because my Internet Connection dropped out. That wouldn't have happened in a real live Town Hall, would it?



I'll try to do the same for the September 1st event as well. Hopefully there won't be any storms then.

I caught the entire tele-townhall meeting, having called in ten minutes before it started. Even at that, they never got to my question. So far, Shuler's approach toward the healthcare legislation appears to be pretty logical, though I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he ends up caving in to the Democratic Leadership and voting for it as-is anyway. It probably will depend on whether or not they need his vote to pass it or not. If they don't need it, they will let him vote against it. If they DO need it, we'll probably see just the opposite, as with Cap and Trade.
