In case you haven't heard, there will be a great event on August 22nd at Haywood Community College Auditorium in Waynesville, featuring Robert Levy of the CATO Institute. This man personally funded the Heller vs. DC case which led to the historic Supreme Court ruling last year upholding an individual's right to bear arms. There is more information in the forwarded email.
The meeting is well worth attending, so bring some friends!

I couldn't sleep and got up writing down ideas about a name for this grassroots movement and a statement with ideas to build a New Republican Party with an intwinement of democrats, republicans,libertarians, independants,and free thinkers devoted to our Forefathers under the US Constitution....including smaller schools with no busing hopefully unless absolutely needed, the busess can be used for field trips and the likes and the schools would have more one on one teaching with after school tutoring and no homework for more time with families,,, the fair tax getting rid of IRS,,,small health depts. in each township for low income, people with no insurance,,,therefore also lowing cost of other insurances with more options and lower doctors cost.,,,I know someone who wrote up something about illegal aliens and how to deal with this, I feel they need to become citizens like we and or greencards preparing them for citizenship and having to learn English for jobs, stiff penalties for bosses who hire illegals knowingly....so am I dreaming or is this a start... I know many people probably have these same ideas,,,,,I think in this stronger party our representatives will have to keep the heads of the party awhere at all times of all bills and no voting on them until WE THE PEOPLE hear them through all methods of media, then given the time it would take we would get back to the party and they would tell these reps how we want them to vote that way there are checks and balances....We are going to need a leader.. Not sure on who, but the young generation is coming up fast and need someone to fit their thoughts too. I know we talked some on this before last week...
